Aligning and arranging tools
| • | Select one or more graphs on a Layout and use the buttons on the Arrange toolbar.(To select several graphs at once, hold down the CTRL key and click on them.) Use the Arrange toolbar align objects left, center or right, top, middle or bottom, or front to back. You can also group and ungroup objects. |
| • | Select a graph and drag a corner to change the size. Note that the aspect ratio won't change. |
| • | Drag the graph to move it on the layout. |
Automatic snapping
Prism automatically tries to snap graphs into alignment on a Layout. If you'd like to move a graph just a bit without its snapping in place, select the graph you want to move and Nudge it using the keyboard arrows. Or, hold the ALT key down to prevent snapping while you drag.
Formatting a layout
Use the tools in the Change toolbar to format a layout
 - Flip the orientation from portrait to landscape. This flips the orientation of the page, not the aspect ratio of the graphs. If you want to change the shape of a particular graph, select the graph page in the graph section of the Navigator and click on any axis to open the Format Graph dialog.
 - Change the number and arrangement of graph placeholders on a layout. Use this tool to add a new placeholder.
 - Equalize the size of graphs on a layout. You can choose to reduce the size of graphs that are larger than the others, or to increase the size of those that are too small. Use this button to change all the graphs on a layout or just selected graphs. This button actually equalizes the percentage change in size for a graph placed on a layout. So, if graphs were originally made the same size, with same size fonts, this command will get things the same again on layout. If graphs started off with different sizes, however, this command won't be very helpful.
 - Change the color of the layout background.

When you resize one of multiple graphs on a layout Prism will ask if you also want to resize the others to match.
