How to create a new data table

How do you start a new data table? What is the difference between a data table and a Prism project?

A Prism project can contain many data tables.

To make a new table:

Click the new button from the Sheet section of the Prism toolbar (or drop the Insert menu) and choose New Data Table and Graph. Select the format for the kind of data you will enter.

It is sometimes easier to start with an existing data table and make a copy, and then simply change or replace the data. If you like, you can duplicate any linked graphs and analyses at the same time.

To duplicate a data table:

Click the New button (or drop the Insert menu), and choose Duplicate Sheet. Or choose Duplicate Family to duplicate this table along with linked info tables, analyses and graphs. After duplicating, edit the copy and the analyses and graphs will be updated automatically. If you rename your new data table, all linked graphs and analyses will also be renamed
