File locations for example files When you save an example graph for cloning, it is saved to a folder within this folder (where “[user]” is the username you use to log into Windows: Document and Settings\[User]\Application Data\GraphPad Files saved here will show up as choices in the Saved Example section of the Welcome dialog
If you want some examples to be seen by all users on a computer, or all users of a Prism installed on a network server, make copies of those example folders and move those folders to the examples library folder within the Prism folder: C:\Program files\GraphPad\Prism 5\Example library Files saved here sill appear in the Shared Example section.
File locations for saving templates, methods, and examples
Prism saves template and method files in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GraphPad Software\Prism\5.0\Templates\ C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GraphPad Software\Prism\5.0\Methods\ If you have several individual Prism licenses, you can move these files to other computers so everyone accesses the same templates and methods. If you have a network license, move these folders to folders within the templates (or methods) folder within the Prism program folder. When you save the template or method, enter a brief description. If you want to provide more extensive help to your users, also create a web (.htm) file that explains use of the template or method. Give it the same name as the template or method, but with the extension .htm, and place it in the same folder. For example, if your template is doseresponse.pzt, create a help file named doseresponse.htm. When someone uses the template or method, Prism will pop up the dialog with the brief instructions. This dialog also has a button “Help for this template”. When your uses click this button, Prism will launch a web browser to display the .htm file you created. |
