Fixed Bug: Some functions in user-defined equations used for nonlinear regression give wrong results.

In versions 5.00, 5.01 and 5.0a of GraphPad Prism, the rarely-used functions listed below work incorrectly when used as part of an equation used in nonlinear regression. They work fine in earlier and later releases of Prism.

  • ARCTAN2
  • BETA
  • IGAMMA
  • IGAMMAC
  • CHISQC
  • BESSELY
  • BESSELI
  • BESSELJ
  • BESSELK

Those functions work as documented when used as a user-defined transform or when used to generate a family of curves. But when used as part of a user-defined equation in nonlinear regression, Prism swaps the two parameters (inputs) to the function, and thus the result is wrong. This bug was fixed in Prism 5.02 (Windows) and 5.0b (Mac).
