Activating your Prism Group subscription after renewal

We recently updated how subscription renewals work. Your end users will no longer need to reactivate Prism with a new serial number and activation code every time you renew. Instead, your existing serial number will continue to work seamlessly as long as your subscription remains active.

In order for this to work properly, we require that all customers update their end users to Prism version 7.05 (Windows), 7.0e (Mac) or newer.

You can find the instructions on how to manually install or silently deploy the latest Prism version in My Account → Install. We recommend updating to the latest version in one of the following ways:

  • If your end users do not have privileges to install software: Find instructions on how to manually install or silently deploy the latest Prism version in My Account → Install.
  • If your end users have privileges to install software: Distribute the installer links found in My Account → Install. Otherwise, for users that have previously installed Prism, they can simply open Prism and click on Help → "Check for Updates..." in the main menu.

If your organization cannot yet support the latest Prism version, you can access a backwards-compatible serial number from My Account → Install that will allow you to reactivate Prism versions 7.00 - 7.04 (Windows) and 7.0a - 7.0d (Mac) for the duration of your renewal term. This works like Prism renewals prior to the change.
