Can I open IPG (InPlot graph) or .GP (InPlot data) files in Prism?

InPlot was the DOS-based predecessor of Prism. InPlot can run in Windows, with a bit of fussing with memory settings.

No version of Prism can open InPlot .IPG files. The format and organization of the two programs is just too different. The files contain instructions to plot the graph, but do not include the data. They are similar to the older 'plotter' HPGL files that sometimes ended with .plt. You might be able to find a program that can understand these formats, and turn .IPG files into something visible.

Prism 1 and 2 can import .GP data files from InPlot; versions 3 and later cannot. The .GP files are stored plain text, so you can view and edit them with Notepad or any text editor. With some effort, you will be able to find the values and rearrange them into another program.
