Can Prism open Instat files?

No. But you can copy and paste data between the programs.  You can also export as a Text file or tab-delimited file from InStat and use the Export function to transfer to Prism.  

With the exception of multiple regression, Prism can do the same analyses as InStat, so there isn't a whole lot of need to transfer files over.
