How can I make a script run faster?

Once you are sure the script is running properly, add the "shortlog" command tothe beginning of Prism script. This will make it run faster, much faster on some computers. 
 
Also use Windows Update at microsoft.com to update Windows to the latest releases. With Windows XP, this can noticeably improve the speed of script performance.
 
Switch to Windows Classic style appearance in the Display properties dialog. It improves the performance a bit.
