How can I uninstall InStat?

InStat Windows: Simply delete the entire InStat folder (making sure that it doesn't contain any data files that you want) and then delete the icon/shortcuts that launch it. When programs are tricky to uninstall, they require an uninstall program. InStat is not one of these. All of its files are in one folder.

InStat Mac To remove InStat 3 Mac from the computer, drag the following to the trash:

  1. "InStat3 Folder",
  2. "InStat3" alias from the Desktop,
  3. "InStat3 Preferences" file from the "System Folder:Preferences" folder,
  4. "InStatHelp" folder from the "System Folder:Help" folder.

  3. In the More Search Options dialog check the "file name" check box, and enter "w2rd" in the "file name" input field, so that the first string in this dialog looks as:
            [x] file name contains w2rd
  4. Check "is" check box in the Advanced Option group of controls and select "invisible" from the pop up menu next to the "is" check box.
  5. Click OK.
