InStat message: The results exceed the maximum lengths.

This message comes from InStat Mac (3.0 or 3.1) when the total length of the results is too long for it to display. That maximum length is quite long, so this message is exceedingly rare.

The only case we know of is when you choose to do one-way ANOVA with many columns and ask InStat to perform multiple comparison tests for every pair of groups. With hundreds of multiple comparisons tests, the limit is reached. But multiple comparison tests are rarely helpful in this case. Consider asking more focussed questions involving fewer multiple comparison post tests.
