Prism 6 bug: Symbols pasted from one title to another revert to plain text

When you copy a column or row title from Prism 6.00 Windows, and paste to another column (or row) title, special characters (math, Greek, etc.) revert back to regular text as this picture shows.

The workaround, of course, is to reenter those symbols or to select the text, and choose the Symbol font.

It is easy to bypass this bug by doing one of the following:

  • Only copy part of the a title, rather than the entire title. Select just some (or all but one) of the characters, and copy. Now the pasting will be fine.
  • Copy more than the title. Also copy at least one numerical cell. Or copy the entire column. When you copy the title plus something else, pasting will be fine.

Fixed in 6.01.
