Problem: My graph shows axes but doesn't show data and curves.
This is a problem some people using Prism 6 with Windows XP began seeing in December 2013, presumably because of some XP update. The problem only occurs with XY graphs that include a curve generated by nonlinear regression. The graph looks fine in the layout or when exported, and in the tooltip you see in the navigator. But the graph itself shows only axes. This problem has been fixed in 6.04. If you must use an earlier release, here is a work around that you'll need to repeat for each graph showing the problem.
- Go to Nonlinear regression properties dialog.
- Go to the Range tab
- Reduce the setting for "Number of points that define the curve" from its default of 1000 to a smaller number. 100 will certainly suffice, but you might be able to get away with more (and get a smoother curve).
