Fixed bug: The first release of Prism 7.05 launches very slowly because the toolbar is very slow to appear

Problem. The first release of Prism 7.05 draws the toolbar incredibly slowly when Prism starts. This only happens on computers with a slow D: drive.

Once the toolbar is drawn, all should be fine as you use Prism until you exit and start it again.

Workaround for Prism 7.05 is as follows:

1. Right-click on the file: d:\test.png
2. From the contextual menu, choose the Properties menu command to open the Properties dialog.
3. On the General tab check the Read-only option, and  OK to close the dialog.

Now Prism should run fine.

The problem is that some test code remained in the build, repeatedly writing a test file onto the D drive. You won't notice the problem if your computer does not have a D: drive, or if it is a fast (solid state) drive. If you have a slow computer with a slow D: drive, Prism launch will be very slow.  This hardware specificity explains why the problem was not noticed in our last-minute testing.

The second release (build 237) fixed this issue.
