Problems with the Goto script command.

Some results sheets in Prism have several subpages or views. To flip to the page you want with a Prism script, this syntax is supposed to work:

GoTo R4 V2

That command goes to the fourth results page, and then to the second subpage or view on that set of results.

There are three potential issues:

  • Don't  leave out the space between the results and view. The command "GoTo R4V2" goes to the default (current view) of results sheet 4, and the view part of the command is ignored.
  • Nonlinear regression has a hidden second view. So if you want to go to the second view, you need to use V3. If you want to go to the third view, use V4.
  • There is also a hidden second view in the cubic spline analysis. If you use that analysis to interpolate, Prism will create two results pages or views. To use a script to go to the second view, use "V3" in the script command.

The hidden view bugs are in Prism Windows 5.00, 5.01 and Prism Mac 5.0a, and were fixed in 5.02 and 5.0b. After updating, you'll need to edit the script to use the proper view number, as the hidden views will no longer exist.
